How to activate the lab application ?
- First of all you need to go to Mail setting page. This can be done by clicking over “gear” icon at top-right corner, and selecting mail settings. (You need to be on Gmail page)
- Select the LAB tab and search for “Custom keyboard shortcuts” lab application. You can activate the application by selecting ‘enable’ and doing ‘save setting’.
- Now again follow to Mail settings page, you’ll find a new tab called “keyboard shortcuts” click on it.
- Assign your custom shortcuts in the table and make sure you save it before leaving the page.
Thats it now you are ready to use your own custom shortcuts on Gmail.

2) Have an advocate who can teach them how to do this.
